Daylight saving time

Daylight saving time

On the last Sunday of March, the night of March 29-30 (Saturday to Sunday), which is this weekend, we switch to daylight saving time. Namely, at 3 a.m. on March 30, you need to set your clocks one hour forward.

Modern devices automatically switch to the new time, while push-button phones and mechanical watches need to be set manually.

In July 2024, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed draft law No. 4201, which provides for the abolition of daylight saving time and winter time, leaving winter time constant. However, the bill has not been signed by the President.

So, don't forget to set your clocks (if you need to do it manually) to stay informed about important daylight saving time events.
