Bearing units: bearings with housing and insert bearings

I. Insert ball bearings (self-centered) are divided into the following types:

1.  Insert ball bearings of UC type - bearings with a spherical outer ring, bilateral sealing of reflective rings, extended on both sides of the inner ring and snap screw for fixation on the shaft. Bearing is equipped with a special system of bores for oil replacement. Bearings are designed, primarily, as a support for short shafts or for such places where only a small linear thermal expansion is possible. Small extensions of shaft compensate by axial clearances of the bearing.

Apply at:

  • conventional loads;
  • low or medium speeds;
  • to facilitate disassembly unit.

2. Insert ball bearings of SA type - bearings with spherical outer ring, bilateral sealings, extended from one side with the inner ring and eccentric fixing ring for fixation to the shaft. Bearing is equipped with a special system of bores for oil replacement.

Apply at:

  • conventional loads;
  • turning of the bearing in one direction;
  • low or medium speeds.

3. Insert ball bearings of SB type - bearings with a spherical outer ring, bilateral sealings, extended from one side of the inner ring and snap screw for fixation on the shaft. Bearing is equipped with a special system of bores for oil replacement.

Apply at:

  • conventional loads;
  • low or medium speeds;
  • to facilitate disassembly unit.

II. Bearings with housing (or bearing units) are divided into the following types:

1. Bearing units of UCP type. By means of extended ring and possibility to self-center, mounting and installation of these units is not difficult. The design is distinguishing by such benefits as solid contact with the foundation, sealing of compound section, if necessary, unit can be additionally lubricated.

2. Bearing units of UCF type. Bearing units with flanged housings consist of the same components as bearing units in a stationary housing, but, by means of its design, can be fixed with bolts through the holes in the flanges. Provides increased precision of mounting on vertical surfaces.

3. Bearing units of UCFL type. Bearing units with flanged housings consist of the same components as bearing units in a stationary housing, but, by means of its design, can be fixed with bolts through the holes in the flanges. Provides increased precision of mounting on vertical surfaces.

4. Bearing units of UCT type. Bearing units for tensioners are used when shaft adjustmentor is needed or in belts tensioning devices. Bearing unit is built directly into the housing of the tensioner. The size of the regulated moving for the unit is up to 300 mm.
